Through the Skills training initiatives of ARO young people are equipped with skills for life and livelihood. The trainees include SHG women and school dropout, illiterate youth from tribal and non tribal disadvantaged sections of the society. ARO coordinates the 10 VTCs spread across the 4 states, offering training, facilitation of processes, mobilization and placement services.

The staffs of the skill training projects are regularly upgraded with quality ToT, which in turn translated into trainings for the youth. The 10 Vocational training centres have uniform curriculum, qualified teachers and well equipped theory and practical facilities. 300 girls are trained every year and certified by Usha International Ltd., and assisted to find employment/self employment, linkages and follow up under the monitoring of ARO Job Placement Office.
