Considering the need of the area and the importance of educating the people especially living in the villages, Auxilium Reach Out impart preventive and curative health through awareness programmes, Medical camps, Mobile Dispensary, training of Health Workers for employment and serive, etc are some of the ongoing activities. Various sensitizing programmes were organized on Malaria, TB, HIV and AIDS, Alcoholism, Seasonal diseases, Importance of Vaccination, Water Borne Diseases, etc., and medical camps in the remote villages.
EMPLOYMENT THROUGH PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTHHealth Workers Training Programme of one year duration with employment is offered for class XII completed girls at Auxilium Centre, Kokrajhar. It had dual benefit of providing employment to the trainees as well as health care to the people of interior villages. 20 to 25 students are trained every year and placed in employment. Students visit rural areas and organize health awareness programmes, medical camps and patient visits, imparting information on various diseases and motivating people to make use of hospitals and health care facilities provided by the government.
